We have been looking at Instructional Writing to get us ready to write our instructions for our games.
Here are Dara's instructions:
How to get to the forest
Equipments
compass and water.
Instructions.
1.Walk east 4 steps.
2.Walk 1 step west.
3.Hop south 4 steps but be careful to AVOID the tyrannosaurus rex and the tar pit.
4. Run west 1 step.
5.Walk south 4 steps but still avoid the tyrannosaurus rex.
6.Finally run west 1 step and there you are HOME SWEET HOME.

How To Get To The Dinosaur Forest
Equipment:
Big drink bottle for the Dinosaur.
Walking shoes.
Compass for where to go.
Hat for protection from the sun.
Step 1: Tiptoe quietly 3 blocks south to avoid the VELOCIRAPTOR!
Step 2: Turn east and take 2 steps, Be careful of the tar pit.
Step 3: Go south 1 step.
Step 4: Go east 1 step.
Step 5: Take 4 big stomps south and try to avoid the big TYRANNOSAURUS REX!
Step 6: Go east 2 steps.
Step 7: Take a break and enjoy home!
