Matariki in Poutama

Kia Ora Whanau, June is a special month to the Maori people. It is their New Year, a time to spend with whanau and celebrate the last year.


In Poutama we had a discussion with Pa Jack about what Matariki and the seasons look like through the Whiringa lense. This was very interesting.


We then took the information that Pa gave us and created a way to show our learning. There were lots of different takes on this task... take a look at some of pics
